Hello Michael,
My name is Lube,
I have a 1963 Corvair #700 series, 4 door sedan. After seen your
pictures, I would replace all the fuel lines. You could bend them yourself or buy
pre bent lines from Clark's Corvair Parts. I move my fuel filter to the left rear
bracket for the brake line. Where the brake hose and the brake steel line join.
I put a piece of radiator hose and cut one side length wise, slip over the
fuel filter and secure with zip ties. I use a longer zip tie to secure it to the bracket.
I change the top cover to a late model cover and a new bearing for the magnesium
fan. You would need another pulley for the late model bearing, also a top shroud
for the magnesium fan. It's a lot of work, it looks great. I change the oil filter adapter
for an alternator adapter. Mine has a alternator with an built in regulater.
That's all for now, Lube
