Hello all,

Here are some drive by parades to get your car out and seen.  Some might be by you, others maybe not.  I’ll try to forward ones in Douglas County and south that I see pop up on various sites.  There are 7 different ones below.

Castle View High School Senior Car Parade

As you all know, this year looks very different for the Castle View High School Class of 2020. Many important events have been canceled or hang in the balance. We are excited to announce a Castle View High School Graduate Parade through The Meadows on Saturday, May 23rd, at 11:00am! Please note: This is not an official CVHS event. It was lovingly planned by CV parents who wanted to celebrate the 2020 Graduates and let the community celebrate all their hard work!
DETAILS/GUIDELINES: These are recommended details and guidelines to ensure our event goes smoothly, without incident.
• The parade route is posted below. It snakes throughout The Meadows so be sure to find a spot that you can wave to the graduates as they pass by.
• If you want to make posters, play music, honk horns, use noisemakers/kazoos, we encourage that! If you live along the parade route, please consider hanging a banner or balloons in your front yard or off your back decks.
• If you own any Castle View High School apparel, please wear it. The CVHS colors are red, black and gold!
**PLEASE practice social-distancing by maintaining a 6-foot distance between families along the parade route.**
PARADE ROUTE: The parade will leave CVHS’s main entrance/exit at 11:00am and begin down Butterfield Crossing… passing Meadow View Elementary.

Parade continues past The Grange & Paintbrush Park
The parade officially ENDS at the intersection of Meadows Blvd & N. Meadows Drive (near Castle Rock Middle School). This is the conclusion of the parent-organized parade. CRPD is aware of our event. This is not an official Castle View High School event. We estimate the parade to be approximately 45-60 minutes.
