Hello all,
This is a follow up to the PPCC club meeting and the minutes Mary Ellen sent out and I want to keep RMC in the loop, too. I had mis-spoken at the meeting saying we had 10 spots for Corvairs. I started putting down the cars that had already committed and determined how many spots were left. I looked at the last Concours and we did have 10 cars, but also 2 FC’s, so 12 spots. We have not talked about specific numbers of cars for the Sept 12th show during our Concours meetings as of yet, so I sent the higher ups an email asking for clarification. As of now they say we can have the 10 to 12.
Currently, with the members that have let me know they have signed up, we have 8. We have a Greenbrier (TACT), Rampside (Tony), Lakewood (Greens), 2 early open (Chris & Rick), 1 late open (Mike Piper) and 2 late closed (Tony and Greens). So, to cover all of our classes we would like another late open and an early closed. That would get us to 10, which leaves a possible other 2. Kathy and I are open to leaving out our Lakewood if there is a nicer/better one than ours, as it is not in prime condition.
If you have registered and not let me know, please do so so that we can determine how many cars are already committed, look at space considerations, and update our list. If you would like to enter your car, please let me know so that we can determine what our needs for full representation of the Corvair’s will be.
We will be doing club judging, so it is just the regular entry fee of $50. So far, Mike Piper said he would judge, so we really need one other. It is nothing fancy or very picky, just covering the basics of the cars.
Last time we attended the Concours SeeMore was there. It is invited again, BUT we need a volunteer to get it there as Tony has to work. It is in the trailer, so you would have to have a truck to haul it or we can rent a truck. Please let me know if you ae able to do this, so we can register it.
I think that is all for now.
Thanks,
John
