Great Edition, Kathy!  Fun read! Thanks to all contributors!
Quote from PPCC Newsletter minutes:
"At Springfield Mike Hall spoke to a club member about a national convention inColorado. There was a strong response from the membership in attendance.
RMC & PPCC could put it on. Proposed that CNM to commit to helping. One commentmade was we would have to have the total memberships involvement in such anendeavor, not the handful who participate now."  
This reminded Patricia & I of our past recommendations for a venue in Colorado Springs for the Tri State.  
Hotel Elegante has hosted many National car conventions.
This month, they hosted Rocky Mountain Mustangs. On August 15th to 23rd is the Z Car National Convention..
Note photo below.  Also, there is overflow parking in adjacent lot (Phoenix Bldg.)
