Both Corvair Club newsletters always make me smile; Hats Off to our editors in both clubs. Thanks also to all who produced or contributed to this edition.
The 2013 Tri State Cripple Creek RMC Group Photo on the steps of the Double Eagle's Hippie Lounge brings back such fun and great memories of people and events. This one has wonderful people who are no longer with us...
This one is reflective of the time some of we Senior Corvair People grew up... Well, my first car was a '59 leftover 2 door Bel Air with that three on a tree and 283. On 2 Oct, '59 we stood at the Chevrolet dealer showroom in Lincoln, NE. Returning from Dahran, Saudi. the family had no car. Mom wanted the '60 Corvair and Dad bought the leftover Bel Air.. Alas, it became my first car..purchased from Dad...Thanks Eric Schakel! Great memories... after our Senior trips to RVN some of us became interested in Corvairs. Mother had a EM PG ' Four door for a grocery getter after we returned.
Tech tips are always great as they trigger the "Oh, That's right" as refreshers or Time, Money or Work saving tips from members.
I always print out the tech tips and put them in my three ring binder.. Old fashioned, I know, but it is always on the shelf.
Regards,
