PPCC List - St. Patrick's Day Parade Invitation

Hello all,
Below is this years invitation to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Colorado Springs on March 12th. The registration is due by Feb. 20th, before our next club meeting. We paid the fees two years ago when some members were interested, before Covid shut them down for two years. Those Fees are not returnable if we don’t participate this year, and to help cover the rising costs we will have to pay an additional $50 if there are Corvairs in the parade. So, this is to ask who is interested in participating in the parade?
It looks like about 8 blocks. Your car does not need to be shiny, like our Lakewood is not. We just need to show off our classic cars and remind people how fun they can be. We can have up to 10 cars. It would be nice to have at least one of each model/style there. We would probably need at least 4 cars to make a good showing. After the parade, we could meet somewhere for lunch, maybe away from the crowds.
Please let me know ASAP if you are interested. That way we can get registered, since we need to let them know how many cars/types. If no one is interested, that is fine. March can still be tricky weather. At least I-25 is basically done, so that is nice.
