PPCC List - Power glide and torque converter

>From the symptoms described, the issue is probably the torque converter. It may be time to consider one from Clark's (maybe the hi-stall one). A rebuilt TC can be pricey. You could install a used one, but you might run the risk of adding sludge to the system. That said, I do have several good used TCs on the shelf.
What color is the fluid in the transmission? If brown, it will also need changing.
Lots more I could say, but that would make for a very long post.
