PPCC List - FW: St. Patrick's Day Parade Confirmation

For those interested in participating, Last year we met at Penrose Hospital
(2222 N. Nevada Ave) Colorado Springs by 10:30, to regroup and allow time to
get to our staging area in time.  Assuming the staging area is the same it
is only 7 min away on Tejon, between Dale St. and Monument St.  More
information will be coming soon and I will forward that too.

Congratulations!  Your entry into the 2023 St. Patrick's Day Parade has been
approved.  Staging packets will be e-mailed the first part of March
explaining when & where to line up.  

 

In the meantime, I can tell you staging will begin at 11:00 a.m. on
Saturday, March 11th.  Please do not arrive before 11 AM, as the 5K for St.
Patrick's Day Race will be held on Tejon Street from 10AM until 11AM.  Tejon
will remain closed until the runners have completed their run.  Please keep
an eye out for the Runners!

 

Again, we thank you for your support of the Parade.  The St. Pat's Parade
and Events are not put on by the City, but we must raise all the dollars to
pay the expenses.  Our police & city services bill for the day is now
nearing $23,000.00!  Without your parade entry fee, the Race Entry Fees, the
Ride Entry Fees and our sponsors, this parade would not be possible!
