PPCC List - Member update

Hello all,

I recently talked to club member William Pearce over in Austin, by Grand Junction, and he said I could share this information with the club. He has been dealing with a lot of health issues. He has been doing chemo and hormones for prostate cancer, for which he had surgery a couple of weeks ago. He will have follow-up chemo for a while. The Doctors said they got the original cancer, but in the process found out he has chronic lymphatic leukemia. Now must deal with additional treatments. Naturally, since we are all older now, this has taken a much worse toll on him than earlier in life issues.

Having to deal with life moving forward, he contacted me to see how he might be able to donate all his parts to club members for free. He has a lot of early parts. Not many transmission items, but says he could probably build 5 complete motors with all the parts. He does not have a list and is not in good enough health put one together. He said he can send some pictures but can’t dig around looking for specific items.  He can walk around his shop some but can’t lift or move things around.


He also has 6 running antique snowmobiles in main shop plus 3 in process of restoration. In a back shed he has 6 more in line to be repaired with lots of parts!!! At least 18 extra engines are also in same building. He also has at least 35 more snowmobiles up the road stored at a buddy’s place. In addition, he has a couple of old 3 wheelers and a couple other atv’s, too.

There is no rush on any of these, just planning for the future. Most of the stuff is free. It is all come and pick up.
