 Just a reminder, the picnic and club meeting are set for Sunday at my place...8110 Shoup Rd CS, CO 80908. My cell is 301-351-1561.
As of now I have RSVP's from:
Randy = bringing beans!TonyThe Harrison's = bringing a desert I forgot the name of but it's tasty!The Peevyhouses'sThe Green's = bringing something not Brownies!Christine = bringing brownies
Let me know if you already RSVP'd and I inadvertently left you off. Also let me know if you didn't RSVP but are coming with an appetite!
I will be supplying/cooking burgers/dogs with the fixin's
We could probably use some chips, maybe potato or macaroni salad?
I think we have plenty of drinks from the club but if there is something you want in particular, please bring it. I will also have some beer for those who want to partake.
Also - IMPORTANT - bring a lawn chair. If the weather is good we'll likely gather down at the barn for grub and mtg and I have a limited supply of chairs. If the weather doesn't cooperate we'll be in the house for the mtg.
Have a Great Drive and see you SundayI
Glenn

  G'day all,
Please see the below directions in google maps for next weekend's drive.
The route takes us through USAFA, so please remember that all adults (including passengers) must have either DOD ID or a State/Federal ID with them to get onto the base, and the frunk of your car may need to be inspected. Please also remember that no firearms/weapons/etc are permitted on the base. There may be a possibility of stopping at the B-52 Bomber for some photos if that's a thing that we want to happen.
If you are planning on joining us for the picnic afterwards, please RSVP to Glenn by this Sunday Sept 10 anchorhead at verizon.net and let him know what side/dessert you are bringing.
Rex (and Dolby) and I went to Coffe and Cars in Monument last weekend, and the organisers were overjoyed at the possibility that there may be a number of Corvairs there next time! If you want to be part of the unofficial Corvair show, then please turn up any time after 0800. You will get to meet some people - one has an interest in Corvairs, eat some great donuts, and check out some other cool cars. There is a coffee shop almost right next door as well.
Regardless, please meet no later than 0930 at Monument so that we can all leave at 1000.
Hope to see you there! (and by that, I mean that I hope that our car starts...)
Kind regards,Kristal
