PPCC List - September Club meeting

Hi folks,
 
I was on vacation last week and I've spent this week trying to get reorganized.
 
Sunday is our fall drive which we plan to have end at Glenn's house at 11:30, and this is also meeting day.  I've scheduled this meeting for noon which will likely conflict with lunch so if enough of you have concerns, I can easily be convinced to change the start time.
 
I'll need to work on an agenda but one item has come up and has provoked a bit of email.
 
Eric Schakel (RMC) suggested to RMC at our last meeting that we might consider a trip to Hastings, NE to see Chris Shade's Corvair dealership.  Eric has not confirmed this with Chris, but the weekend of October 14-15 was suggested.  PPCC is welcome to come too.  
 
>From my perspective this is independent of a donation of the cutaway car but there has been several follow-on emails getting Eric involved and going into a lot of detail discussing the nuances and pros/cons of donating the cutaway car.  I believe I'm accurate in Eric's desire to NOT get involved in the donation of the car, the timing, the disposition of the trailer, logistics of getting it there if desired, etc.
 
I believe we deferred the discussion of what to ultimately do with the cutaway car until after the season car shows were over.  We are probably at that point now.  I'm not sure if we'll have a reasonable cross section of the club at this meeting including zoom.
