PPCC List - DRIVE/PICNIC

Hello all,

I just want to thank Rex for setting up the fall drive. It was a beautiful day! We had 4 Corvairs and 3 water eaters. It started at a Cars & Coffee in Monument. There was a lot of interest in the Corvairs. Right next door was a nice coffee shop where we got breakfast items and drinks. It will be our club meeting place in Oct (watch the Drip Line for details). We then had a nice drive along the foothills of Perry Park, Larkspur, back to the Air Force Academy, around through their grounds, stopped at the B-52, then on to Glenn and Kelly’s for the picnic. Thanks to them for providing hamburgers and hot dogs off the grill and a nice table setting outside. Good food, conversation, and club meeting.

I didn’t take many photos, but maybe others can add on.
