PPCC List - Cutaway Car (see-more)

Hi all,
 
I apologize again for walking over the Zoom meeting yesterday.  As it turned out the PPCC board plus several others were present so we had a meeting.
 
The conclusion of the question about the cutaway car future is to store the car in the trailer at Duane Hays' place over the winter as was done last year.  Glen is still willing to be the "tow resource" as he has been, subject to his personal schedule, and in general he can keep the car + trailer on his property at least until the point where his large scale model railroad project requires the trailer parking site to establish the grade for the tracks.
 
"Custodianship" (my word) of the trailer was discussed and will be researched to determine if the trailer ownership can be established for a non-profit club.  That would remove licensing responsibility from Ken Schiftner.
 
My recollection is that RMC made a money donation to the PPCC See More fund, and the donation was made with "no strings attached."  RMC did not want any involvement including ownership, responsibility or decision making as far as the cut away car goes.  For the time being that would remove Eric Schakel  from involvement in the disposition of See More.  His initial comment at the last RMC meeting was strictly to suggest that RMC (PPCC is welcome too) should consider a road trip to see Chris Shade's place in Hastings.
 
Another item that came up is to try an alternate meeting place in Monument for the October PPCC meeting.  If it hasn't been posted already, it will be.  It is about 30 minutes closer for the northern based folks.
