Hi all,

So, after sewing potential confusion again about the fire ban, here's where we stand (typing from work):

    * (email) Rick Beets has offered a portable propane grill. This will meet the current fire ban which sez you can cook with appliances you can turn off, not put out. Rick, please bring propane and matches.
    * (email) Dale Nielsen has also offered a propane fired device as well, same deal, bring propane and a source of ignition.
    * (8-2 meeting) Paul Seyforth said he can bring tableware. It wouldn't hurt to bring your own in case. Paul, does this include napkins?
    * (8-2 meeting) Rick said he has cups and plates.
    * (8-2 meeting) Paul said he will bring tomatoes and onions. Paul, please also bring a sharp knife in case if you don't pre-slice the stuff.
    * We have one set of cooking utensils so I'll bring those. I don't know if we have a second set but if someone else does, please bring them just in case.
    * (8-2 meeting) I've been assigned 48 hamburger patties
    * (8-2 meeting) I've been assigned 24 brats
    * (8-2 meeting) I've been assigned a package of hot dogs
    * (8-2 meeting) I've been assigned 16 veggie burgers (2 boxes)
    * I've been assigned condiments; I'm thinking Costco package of multiple ketchup bottles, maybe one yellow mustard, one brown brown mustard, one mayo, one relish, some quantity of pickles (Karen will decide which flavor(s), in squeeze bottles except pickles
    * I've been assigned buns for the above items (64 Hamburgers, 30 some buns for hot dogs/brats)
    * Dianne has offered 4 cases of bottled water.
I do not have a large cooler. I can provide a smallish one for the meats. Anybody have a large cooler or two?

We will need ice.

Is the club providing pop or any other beverages or are those on us except for water?

Karen usually thinks of plastic table cloths.

Everybody brings something to share. It would be handy if you bring serving utensils. We could perhaps share what you're bringing via group email so we don't have all salad or brownies but a mix of both.

PPCC has their club meeting that morning in Monument. Traditionally they are invited. I won't make their meeting but they are welcome to come to the picnic.

Karen and I will make a pilgrimage to Costco on Saturday. She has the magic card. We'll have a receipt or two for Mr. Dinsdale for the bulk items we provide. I'll leave it to others to decide if they want to be reimbursed for other bulk items.

I have no doubt you will let me know what I've forgotten.

See you all Sunday!

Regards,

Mike
