Greetings from the Western Slope! I am getting my Greenbriar ready for Tri-State (yes I realize it's less than 2 weeks away!) and I purchased a new flywheel, pressure plate and clutch disk from clarks. I am reading on some of the forums that you need to "balance" them. Of course like so many other topics there seems to be debate as to whether you should balance the parts separately, together, or if you even need to balance them at all if you don't race your vehicle. Right now I am struggling to find a shop in town that can do the work in a short amount of time.
Phil Degroot here in town says he has never balanced his and has not had issues. I read the same comments by others on the corvair forums. He suggested I ask for others' opinions?
What do you think?
Thanks,John Kull_______________________________________________
