I made a lot of headway yesterday and today.  Had the maching shop lightly surface my flywheel, and did smoe clean-up and detailing, and a minor wiring repair.  I should have the replacement Clark's disc on Momday and Mario called to say he may have 2 disc's.  He will be in my neck of the woods this afternoon to drop off...talk about providence.

Does it really say Clark's Corvair on that one face?  Quite an advertisement.  For that they should send you a new disc and a check for the time to screw with it.       I have a spare Clark's disc on the shelf for "just in case".  I'd better look...       I'm sure Clark's will say they have never seen that before just like for a pair of ball joints that were out of spec in a thousand miles or before I installed them.       Regards,       Mike

I installed a new Clark's 9" disc in April 2024. My CORSA is a senior division Concours car. It gets driven to shows and club events. It's well cared for and never abused. Trans, diff and engine are in perfect condition. The clutch disc was the culprit that caused the problem with an unusual manufacturing defect. Check out this video.       Steve           On Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 10:15:06 AM MDT, Steve Woods <skwflight at aol.com> wrote:           Good day,       My clutch (or something else) failed on my '65 yesterday while I was heading out to get gas. Had to call AAA to get my car home. So, I won't make the Tri-State this year. If anyone wants to go using my registration (no Charge), I'm sure that can be arranged.       Enjoy the show.       Steve
