PPCC List - Rambler Rance

Hello all,

We had a great time at the WWII Museum and Airplane restaurant. Now it is time for our next adventure
On Aug 22nd we will visit the Ramble Ranch at 36370 Forest Trail in Elizabeth. The cost is $20. Rambler Ranch opens at 10, so we will meet at Franktown Elementary school (1384 N Hwy 83 in Franktown) at 9:30. It is about ½ mile south from the intersection of Hwy 86 & Hwy 83. We then will all drive in together. The Ranch has many warehouses full of cars including some Corvairs that belonged to Wayne Russert, PPCC member. You’ll see lots of Rambler, Nash and AMC cars. They also have a building with Kelvinator kitchen appliances. There is a picnic area where we plan to gather for lunch, so bring your coolers with food and drink, and don’t forget the chairs.  Again, please let me know if you are coming to make reservations! So far, we have 15 members coming. You don’t need to let me know if you already have.

Also, there is a deadline of Sept 1st for the Cruise Above the Clouds, so get your registration
 In. Cruise Above the Clouds in Woodland Park from 9-3. Registration is online for $35. They do have a limit and cutoff date of Sept. 1st., so log on soon. We will have SeeMore there and need at least six other Corvairs for a dedicated parking area. It is a nice area with lots of trees and food trucks. Please let me know if you are coming and have registered, so we can get reserve our own space.
