Among we members are people who stood at the Chevrolet dealers on 2 October 1959 to see the new cars available.
Mother wanted the Corvair after she sat in it.  At 4'11" she could reach the pedals.  Dad bought a leftover '59 Bel Air, 283 3 spd that ended up being my first car.  I drove all over  the eastern USA until my Draft Notice.-
About 1964, Dad bought her a PG Sedan as a grocery getter. They were down to about 500 bucks then, especially around SAC HQTRs at Offutt  AFB.
When she passed in 1996, she had a '64 PG Coupe here in The Springs.
In the past, we had a Corvair Contact Team that could pull a Uni Pack  in 30 minutes, repair and the put it back in in 90 minutes.
We are available and please realize that when we pass a Carnegie Library of Corvair Knowledge Dies.

Any time.   I try to keep items on hand for club members if they have a weekend Corvair project.

Steve Goodman rebuilds the hubs so that they work on both sides in the rear.

I thought that with six days before departure you had time as it is a one evening task.

Jonathan Faires,

If you are in the Springs, I keep a Steve Goodman Rebuilt LM rear Hub here.
Betting you could just replace it before heading out!  Replacement goes pretty fast

I might be running a little late on Friday morning.  If I can't make 08:00, is 08:30 departure OK?
