Hot off the press!!
I have a prior engagement with a Trunk or Treat at my granddaughters’ school.
Hopefully we can get a couple Corvairs to show.
Thanks!
Rick.

I am forwarding a message received from Zachery Wagner, Automotive Technology Instructor at Smoky Hill High School, for a late season car show.
Temps are currently projected to be in the mid 50's
Hello,
I’m Zachery Wagner, the Automotive Technology instructor at Smoky Hill High School in Aurora. Our student Auto Club is hosting a community car show this Saturday, October 24, 2026, and we’d love to invite your club and its members to bring their vehicles or share the invitation!
Smoky Hill Auto Club Car Show
Saturday, October 24 | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Smoky Hill High School, 16100 E Smoky Hill Rd, Aurora, CO 80015
Teacher parking lot, with access off Smoky Hill Road
Please have anyone bringing a show vehicle arrive BEFORE 9:45 AM to park and register. Our automotive students will judge the vehicles and award custom-made trophies. Admission is free, with optional donations supporting our automotive program; there will also be raffle items.
Since the show is coming up quickly, could you let us know whether anyone from your group plans to attend and roughly how many vehicles we might expect? Even a ballpark estimate would help our students plan parking. We understand attendance can depend on weather.
Thank you for supporting automotive education and helping us share the event with the local car community!
Zachery Wagner
Automotive Technology Instructor
