<div>Hello PPCC-list members,</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The 4-speed transmission in my '64 Monza died an untimely death last week. I just received a diagnosis from Steve Goodman, and it looks like a bearing failed and sent abrasive debris throughout. It can be repaired with many new parts, but is probably much more economical to replace if theres a suitable replacement available. So I'm issuing a request for a 4 speed transmission or transaxle to replace the failed unit in my daily driver. I may be wrong, but I understand that a 66-69 transmission will only work with significant modification. A 64 or 65 is a certain easy swap. And I think a 61-63 transmission will work with my diff if I just replace the input shaft. Please let me know if you have any ideas or leads.</div>
