Hello PPCC Crew,

Some information to share with everyone.

Regarding Tri-State T-Shirt sales: Please submit your Tri-State shirt pre-orders to Jeannie Koll at Jeanniekoll@aol.com prior to May 20th. All shirts will be paid for and picked up at the time of registration in Cripple Creek

Our visit to Rambler Ranch has been locked in for June 23rd. Please mark your calendars for that day's events. More info will be forthcoming as plans are solidified.

Attached are some flyers from upcoming area car shows, which have been forwarded on to us. If you're into car stuff, this area has a lot to offer.

- The Cinco de Mayo Show is a small one in Castle Rock. Some cool local cars.

- The Castle Rock Cruise-In, sponsored by the Vintage Car Club (VCC) of Castle Rock, has become one of the largest car show / family events in the area. It continues to grow every year, and all cars are appreciated (read that as folks definitely appreciate seeing a Corvair in the ranks). Expect several hundred cars in the downtown area. Register early for this one! Registration form is attached.

- The Cruise Havana event is another big one, sponsored by the Collector Car Council of Colorado (CCCC). Several hundred cars milling up and down the Havana Motor Mile, with a poker run, multiple bands, all kinds of food, and you'll see some rides there that you won't see at most other car shows. Attached is a flyer for the show, but also a flyer for the volunteer's dinner they are putting together. Looks like a lot of fun.

- Attached is the Littleton Cruise schedule for 2013. This is an up and coming event that continues to grow in popularity. Not quite the golden Super Cruise, but a fun event that's not too far North out of the Springs.

- I've attached the meeting minutes from the April CCCC meeting (of which we are a member), which expands a bit on John Glusick's update form the meeting this week.

Ok, that cleans out my email inbox :)

A very productive meeting this past weekend. A big thank you to everyone who had the opportunity attend. The by-laws were submitted for review, and promptly approved/ratified, so that one is in the books. A final copy is attached for your download, should you so desire.

A great Tri-State update by Patricia, Garrie, Jeannie, and Wayne. Everything is coming together nicely.

The club's official window drop / business cards have been secured and handed out to those in attendance. I'll continue to bring the cards to each of the meetings, as well as Tri-State, so everyone has a chance to get some. If you see a Corvair out and about, use the window drop to let them know when our next meeting is and to drive them to the club's website. Randy has done a great job in making that site a portal for interested folks to reach out to us, and I answer at least 10 emails a month from folks who simply want additional information. So, the exposure and visibility is working. Let's let the folks in town know that we are (still) here :)

Next month's meeting will be on May 19th, and it will be the last meeting prior to the Tri-State get together. If there's one meeting which you can attend in the coming months, please make it this one as we'll be finalizing all of the event planning.

Thanks for all the support! Spring is in the air (even if snow is on the ground every other day), so dust them off, tune them up, and show what we have!

Drive Safe!
