<P>With absolutely zero people getting back to me that they would be attending the Rally event (I did receive several emails that folks would/could not attend), I am making the call today to cancel the event for this Saturday. If there is no interest, then there is no point in trying to make it happen.</P>

<P>Thank you Kelina Halpin for the many, many hours (and tanks of gas) you put in to running the route with me and documenting what would have been a fine rally effort. Maybe we'll have enough interest at another time, next year. <BR></P>

<DIV style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">************************************************************************<BR><BR><B>PPCC Rally Day</B><BR><B>Saturday, September 14, 2013</B><BR>Show Your Best Poker Face!!<BR><BR><B>What:</B> "Gimmick Rally" sponsored by the<BR>PPCC. The Rally will cover a course set up<BR>with 5 designated checkpoints and scattered<BR>with questions to be answered along each leg<BR>of the run. At each checkpoint, teams will<BR>pick up an envelope, which will have a playing<BR>card in it. Upon completion of the rally,<BR>when we meet up for lunch, teams will open<BR>their 5 envelopes at the same time and display<BR>their hand. Best poker hand will win a<BR>prize. The team that answers the most questions<BR>correctly will also win a prize.<BR><B><BR>When</B>: Saturday, September 14th, 10:00am start<BR><BR><B>Where</B>: Rally will start in Castle Rock at the King Soopers parking lot</DIV>

<DIV style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 10pt">and will end in Colorado Springs. The route will cover approximately<BR>75 miles of paved roadway<BR>with beautiful views and vistas. There will<BR>be no dirt or unpaved roads on this course.<BR><BR><B>Who</B>: All PPCC and RMC members, family<BR>members, and friends are invited to attend.<BR>Driving a Corvair is not required, but<BR>is strongly encouraged.
