<DIV>Time to shine the cars up and drive them out for everyone to see as we head out to the World Famous Tiny Town & Railroad in Morrison, CO this coming Saturday, July 25th.</DIV>

<DIV id=yui_3_16_0_1_1436713263776_23677 dir=ltr>PPCC member Wayne Russert has been working with the park management to organize this event for anyone who wants to attend, and as a bonus to the background tour that he will provide of the long shed and roundhouse, Wayne has also secured approval for us to all drive our Corvairs INTO Tiny Town, and set them up in a display within the park! </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr> </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>In order to facilitate this drive-in, we would like everyone to arrive at the park between 10:30-11:00am, so we can all <STRONG>roll in together as a group at 11:00am</STRONG>.</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr> </DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>Once in the park, Wayne will take everyone through the roundhouse and tell us what he knows about the park, and then after that, it's pretty much wander around and take it all in. A train ride is essential! The whole day should be relaxing and at everyone's personal pace.</DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr>There is a snack bar available, as is the shaded picnic area. It's your choice on how you'd prefer to eat. The trains run all day.</DIV>

<DIV>During yesterday's Club meeting, Wayne recommended that folks head into Tiny Town via Highway 285, off of C470 since Deer Creek Canyon is typically choked with bike riders every Saturday morning. Directions are provided below:</DIV>

<LI>Head south into the mountains on Hwy 285 for 6 miles. Exit at <STRONG>North Turkey Creek Road</STRONG>.</LI>
<LI>Turn left (east) and go under Highway 285 and proceed to the stop sign.</LI>
<LI>Turn left on South Turkey Creek Road. Go approximately ½ mile and Tiny Town is on the left. Free parking is in the two lots on the right.</LI></UL>
<P style="MARGIN: 0px" data-mce-style="margin: 0px;">There is another exit off of Highway 285 directly to South Turkey Creek Road but you must make a left turn from 285 while crossing two lanes of often-heavy traffic. This exit will get you to Tiny Town in about ½ mile from the intersection of 285 and South Turkey Creek. Two free parking lots will be on your left.</P></DIV>

<DIV>*<STRONG>NOTE:</STRONG> Pay particular attention to the speed limits on 285 in Morrison. A large part of their town revenue comes from speeding tickets, and that section of 285 is well know as a speed trap.</DIV>
