
<html><body><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000"><div>Hello PPCC Crew,</div><div><br></div><div>There were a couple of folks who were looking at the below van which Club member Tim Shortle had a chance to physically take a look at a couple days ago.</div><div><br></div><div>Passing this info along to the group so you've got a little more background, from an on-site assessment of the vehicle.</div><div><br></div><div>Ed</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><hr id="zwchr"><div style="color:#000;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"><b>From: </b>"jimbo williams" <tshor13@gmail.com><br><b>To: </b>"Ed Halpin" <halpinem@comcast.net><br><b>Sent: </b>Monday, January 16, 2017 3:46:41 PM<br><b>Subject: </b>corvair van in loveland<br><div><br></div><div dir="ltr">Hi Ed, <div>Please forward this on to the groups. I went to Loveland (after dropping off our son at UNC Greeley) and looked at that 64 Corvair Greenbrier which is on C-List and was posted here by Garrie and Randy. Overall the van looks pretty nice. Has some undercarriage rust and some surface rust but not too much. There are no rear seats anymore. It is a 4 speed. Unfortunately it DOES NOT have the original engine but instead has a car engine. It appears the van has not moved for a very long time. So someone needs to plan on doing a lot to make it roadworthy (fuel system, brake system, tires, etc. etc. and on and on). Also, there is a paperwork issue to be sorted out. Finally, the person handling the sale (JoAnne B.) "claims" she has an offer for $1800. I told her I thought it might be worth 5-700. She is holding out for the highest offer so I suggested an auction site. I suggested to her to accept the 1800. She also stated the van would need to be moved quickly- in winter. Again, please let the group know all this. I was there maybe 15 minutes. I hope it does not end up at Pick a Part but I suspect it just might. </div><div>Tim in snowing all day today Durango</div></div>
