</head><body><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">Hello PPCC Crew,</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">I received an email from a prospective member (Brad Turner) who lives in Lamar (I've been chatting with him about acquiring a Corvair for a bit now), and he is heading out to San Diego to pick up a '63 Convertible next Tuesday (the 20th).</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">He's had Corvairs in the past, and, as a measure of comfort, he would like to have a spare axle in the car for the drive back, just in case (he's had an axle fail on him in the past, so he's leary).</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">So, the request is out for a temporary loan of an axel which will fit a '63 convertible, which is likely to do nothing more than take a ride in a suitcase out to San Diego, and a ride back in the passenger seat of the car.</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">Brad mentioned that he could drive out to the Springs to pick the axle up, and I suggested that, if one of the members had one available to loan out, he could pick it up at our next club meeting on the 18th.</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">If anyone has the goods and would like to loan it out for a week, please just reply back to me directly and I'll coordinate the delivery and transfer of said axle :)</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;">Thank in advance for taking a look in your parts bins.</p><p style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; color: #333333;"><br></p><div class="ox-3c8f72d13e-io-ox-signature"><div><em>Ed Halpin</em></div><div><em>Pikes Peak Corvair Club</em></div></div></body></html>
