The car is in reassembly mode, and does not have a motor (a motor does not come with it), but is a good rolling project, with all body work completed (read that as no rust), and a beautiful green coat of paint on top. The fella selling it knows Corvairs, and has several others, but a family situation is causing him to part with this project much earlier than expected.

Work done on the car thus far includes a front disc brake conversion with rack and pinion steering, as well as a full front suspension rebuild. The rear suspension looks to have been refreshed as well. Windshield and front door glass will need to be obtained, but those are easily obtainable locally. Interior is not there, but that just means a clean slate for how you'd want it to be.

The car has the power top motor and hardware, and comes with two convertible frames and a new black convertible top which is still in the box. For anyone who has recently done body and paint on a car, you know that having those two things already completed is a huge savings!

This project opportunity is being offered at $3k (you're getting a lot for your money here).
