Many of you know he had the graft surgery last Wed. The procedure went fine but there was a lot of pain mgmt issues.

He had his first dressing change yesterday. Everything looked good, according to the experts. No further need for the vac system, it did it's job, although painfully. Today's dressing change went well too. I have been educated on the dressing change routine, which is not much different than the dressing changes we did in the early days of this "adventure.". The graft site has improved so much that it doesn't need dressing any longer. Just moisturizer 3-4 times a day. Dave is in much better spirits too. May go home tomorrow.
