Set up starts at 11am with the show from noon to 2pm. After that, you can go to the Perfect Landing restaurant for lunch with a view of the runway. Ken needs to know by this Thursday, Aug 19th if you are planning on going, especially if you are planning lunch at the restaurant so he can give them a head count.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Next, on Sept 18th, Florence is having their Pioneer Days parade. Some of the members attended two years ago and it was quite fun. It is only a mile long, but lots of people lined the streets and we got to park our cars at the park after the parade for folks to look at. This years theme is “The Way They Played” referring to games of the past. They need us to send in the parade entry form very soon. They need a count of cars and participants. If you are interested, please let me know by Friday, Aug 17th.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Last, for now, Old Colorado City is having their Car Show benefitting Alzheimer’s Association on Sept 19th from 9 to 3. In the past we have had lots of Corvairs participating filling our own street. If we get enough interest,, we can ask for that place again in the show. So, please let me know if you are planning on attending so I can see if there is enough interest to ask for that street as soon as possible. The registration is $35, $40 on the day of the show. The registration form is not out there, yet, but watch for it at <a href="http://www.oldcoloradocitycarshow.com" class="">www.oldcoloradocitycarshow.com</a>.
