<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I was stopped and waiting in the center turn lane just two blocks from home. A scofflaw driver was using the same center turn lane to pass all the southbound traffic. He collided with the rear of the wagon. It was declared
a total loss.</div>

<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Quite amazing that a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu going 50+ MPH had the kinetic energy I felt while
<i>firmly</i> belted in.</div>

<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Two suggestions for everyone in this rat race traffic we are enduring now:</div>

<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">1. Have a dash cam type camera both front and rear in every vehicle you drive.</div>

<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">2. Do not place anything in the rear seat that would be thrown about the inside of the vehicle.</div>
