Well, after almost 20 years with this one, the time has come for me to part with my 1960 Monza Coupe, #330.

Today, it remains a great running car (I wouldn't hesitate to drive it from here to California on a whim), one that has never left me on the side of the road (more than I can say for all of my other cars :) ), and, which has had lots of little and big upgrades over the years (alternator conversion, electric fuel pump, radio, etc.) It's just time.

Before I go posting it out to the Facebook Covair Owners Group with pics and all that, I wanted to offer the car up to someone in the clubs first. This is a nice, clean, daily driver (if you choose) that cleans up real nice for shows (numerous CORSA convention and Tri-State award winner).

For folks who may not remember, the car is an automatic with an 80hp engine, which doesn't act like an 80hp. It does have zip and pep, and is a lot of fun to drive.

The only thing that throws a kink into the little bugger being as reliable a transport as I would like it to be, is a wiring draw that I just don't feel like looking for at this point. It could simply be the radio, or some other 65+ year old bug. It could be a 5 minute fix (for someone who knows electrical testing/diagnosis), I just don't know. While I did pick up a brand new wiring harness (body) from Clarks to address all of the old wiring, I just don't have the interest in pulling the old one out to install the new one :) It'll start, start again, and then won't start (like a weak/dead battery), and then will start again.

Club member pricing in effect :), and, depending on the done deal, I'll deliver the car right to your doorstep. I have a price in mind, but will entertain offers and we can haggle to the middle as needed.

Would love to have the car stay local, for folks in the area to continue to enjoy seeing. A couple initial pics are posted, but most of you know the car having seen it at almost every Corvair event for years. More pics easily provided
