I am sorry my note went out prior to spell check.
----=20
Good Afternoon=20
I was hoping to get a couple of questions answered so that can get my 65 =
coupe running this weekend.
I have made several improvements in the car over that last few months =
but without starting the engine. Now I think that I may have multiple =
items in the way of getting it running.
My first improvement was to replace the dash wiring harness from Clarks. =
Next with Steve's help my carbs are like new so it was time to replace =
the fuel system. I installed a new tank, sending unit, hoses and put an =
electronic fuel pump.
We replaced the battery and moved it from the rear of the car to the =
front and put in a new coil.
My questions are;
1. I have an igniter II ignition and flamethrower coil. =
Unfortunately I disconnected the old coil several week prior to install =
and I am not sure on the red and black leads from the distributor. The =
logical connection looks to me to be red + and black -, is that correct?
I am getting good spark to the dist. and plugs.
2. Can anyone think of a basic thing that I am missing in trying to =
get to the bottom of my problem?
I am new to the group so unfortunately I have many more questions than =
answers.
Thanks for your help
