Subject: Tom Schrum


      Tom Schrum, long time member of Cactus Corvairs, Phoenix, known for his exploits in autocross and road racing in "97" with a big turbo motor, suffered a stroke two weeks ago.  

      He is paralyzed on left side, unable to walk and relies on wife Judy for feeding.
      I phoned Tom today and he said he faces a long fight using therapy to regain mobility.  
      He is in good spirits considering his condition and welcomes calls.
