Gary,
I am not going to be able to be there as early as they like for the training as, oddly enough, I have a work meeting that morning to meet with an out of town consultant between 8 and 9. I wouldn't make it until about 10 so I will not plan to attend / help this time around. If they do it again before the convention, I would be interested.
Sorry, I thought the home calendar would be the problem but it was work this time.

All:
As mentioned in my prior e-mail, the BMW club has offered to loan us 2 workers and their timing equipment for our National Convention Autocross. In return, we have been invited to the BMW Club Autocross at Frontrange Airport on JUNE 11th;
Some of you responded to me that you would be willing to come out on June 11th to help work. The BMW club is also offering to let us run our cars in that June 11th Autocross, but they need a listing of names and you need to register by Wednesday (June 8). See link below. There is a fee.
Please register if you want to run; also please let me know if you are going to be able to come out (working and running your car, or just working).
Thanks,
Gary Hoffman

Good morning everyone,
If I could have the name of the person "wanting" to be the course designer, as well as contact information. If its Harlan, I know harlan and well he knows the basics but I would still want to just touch base with him and brief him on the whole thing.
For T&S, yes... I plan on being there to help run the event. My father-n-law is a LONG time Corvair Club member (Jim Reich) and local to Denver.
We would require that ALL participants be known no later than wednesday evening before the event. This way we can get everyone entered into the system.
How our timing and scoring system works, is that everyone essentially needs to have a number and this number needs to be displayed on the side of the car. Either with tape or something more "professional". Tape works well, and should be at least 8" tall. Numbers must range from 1 to 199
Will there be a "Handicap" system to even the playing field out? I'm sure Harlan's Corvair would not be equal to say a restored stock corvair with an oil leak! :) Our system can accomidate this as well. This would be considered a "class" system. If you have several classes of corvairs, we can group them together. This also helps determining who works and who runs.
For driver information (that needs to be with us by wednesday before the event)...should (best way) be a spreadsheet with the following fields:
>>
Driver Name , Car Number , Car Class (see above), Car information
>>
As far as the June 11th event, have EVERYONE that will need to be trained to show up between 6:45 and 7:00am. This way Mike and I (Mike & mike show) can work with ya'll.
Our course designer is "chris mayfield".
Do you have a "lot diagram" of "Bandimere"?
Let me know if there are any questions, please sign up at "rmcbmwcca.motorsportreg.com<http://rmcbmwcca.motorsportreg.com/>" for the event on June 11th. Do not list a BMW member number, but I need a list of your members so I can let my registration person know to approve them.
Take it easy
Michael
