Guys,


I just confirmed hotel rates as below if you want to use my home town as
a mid-way point for the Toss Trip.  Again, some nice driving using this
route and a fully equipped shop at your disposal in Kanab, UT if needed.

The only catch is that the hotel owner will only guarantee said rates if
rooms are reserved this week (by August 31).  Apologies but that was new
wrinkle I was not originally made aware of.


At any rate, just use my name to reserve at these rates.  Pass along as
necessary.

-600 miles from Denver to Kanab (620 miles for the scenic route)


Day 2
-Hwy 389 West to St. George, UT to pickup I15 West
-I15 West to I215 South to I10 East towards Palm Springs
     -alternate scenic route: Hwy 9 thru Zion Nat'l Park to I15 West
-475 miles from Kanab to Palm Springs (same distance for the scenic
route but figure 30-45 more minutes of driving)
