[Rmc-list] Tri-State schedule of events?

Nick, I didn’t see any other responses, so I’ll give you my synopsis: the Tri-State has a time-honored event sequence that begins with Getting There. That’s always an adventure with a Corvair. 

 

Registration kicks off after lunchtime Friday, along with check-in. Late Friday afternoon registration closes, and the attendees gather for hospitality (well, that’s actually all afternoon, too!), then break out into dinner groups. No official dinner is planned.

 

Saturday morning is the car show, from early hours to noon. I don’t believe Rick has published the exact times, but since it’s going to be on Elk Avenue, the main drag in Crested Butte, I’m sure it will include lots of local lunch opportunities this year. The car show breaks up after lunch, and the afternoon “do stuff around the area” open time is in effect. Early Saturday evening, the Corvairistas gather for the dinner. This year it will be in a cool bar at the base of the ski slopes, gorgeous views and a huge outside deck area. Drinks, dinner, awards, and hilarity will ensue.

 

Sunday morning, attendees are free to gather informally for breakfast before or after checkout. Some head straight homeward, while others spend more time exploring the local surrounds before heading back.

 

That’s the pattern for a great Tri-State, and I’m sure Rick Beets and his team of planners will add some additional detail soon.

Is there a schedule of events for Tri-State?  I don't see one listed on the website and there is no email contact that I can find on the tri-state section of the site either.  Maybe it was in the newsletter already and I missed it.
