[RMC List] - Get into the Halloween Spirit! Trunk or Treat Event at Buckley AFB - 27 October 2018

Hello RMC Crew,


You've been asking for a Saturday car event, have I got a fun one for you!!


On the evening of Saturday, October 27th, Buckley AFB will be hosting their annual Trunk or Treat children's event, from 1800-2000 hours (that's 6 - 8 pm for you non-military folks).  Folks who have participated in this event over the past several years saay it is a lot of fun, and there are literally a thousand kids who come by the cars to get candy.


I will be participating, planning on taking either my '62 Wagon or the '60 Coupe.  If you're interested in joining me in some Halloween fun and handing out candy, please let me know so we can go in together and park along side of each other.


Since this is on a military base, for those of you without a current govt/military ID Card, guest passes to enter Buckley AFB will be required, and these can be obtained by contacting Tony Varra at 303-726-6684 or 720-847-9992.  Tony is the fella running the list, so make sure you reach out to him if needed.


For those who might be interested in something even further north, there will be a similar event that evening, being held at the VFW Hall in Golden, 15625 W. 10th Ave. Hours are 4 – 9 pm.  * Since this is right in his neck of the woods, maybe Steve Goodman will put on his red hat and go as a Gnome  :)
