Dear Fellow Western States Corvair Enthusiasts,

The San Diego Club would like to invite you to the 41st Annual Great Western Fan Belt Toss and Swap Meet, in Palm Springs, CA on Oct. 26-28.

There will be all the usual fun with a car parade to the welcome party Friday night. New this year is a mini concourse on Saturday. Please contact Bruce St. Gean (760-942-0089 or email thestgeans0625 at att.net mailto:thestgeans0625 at att.net ) if you would like to be train or have a refresher on concourse judging. We are looking forward to seeing you.
 
Packets were sent out September 1st  to all Western clubs listed in Corsa Communique. There are tickets for the grand prize raffle, the blue tickets: 1st. $1,000 to Clark’s Corvair Parts,  2nd. $500 to California Corvairs and 3rd. $500 to Rafee Corvair. In addition, a beautiful memory quilt is also being raffled, these are the white tickets. This quilt features t-shirts of past Fan Belt Toss’s (see photo attached).
 
Your members can purchase chances for either or both raffles from either the hard tickets from the packet or online at http://www.sandiegocorvair.com/ . When you receive the packet, please return the entry stubs with payment by Oct. 15th or bring to the toss. Winners do not have to be present. Payment can be a check or online payment. The online payment instructions are on the registration form.  It would also be helpful if your members register before coming to the toss, again registration form is online. 
 
On Saturday at 2pm there will be a meeting, at the toss for all who want to be involved in the 2020 CORSA convention in San Diego. We in the West are going to need many volunteers to put on an amazing California convention. There are many types of jobs and needs and all are welcome to help.
