[RMC List] - Important Topic For Meeting Agenda

When PPCC’s “SeeMore” cutaway vehicle is shown, membership and participation in RMC is promoted.

Currently, the cost of maintaining and displaying this valuable recruiting tool is born by PPCC.

Given that RMC benefits, I feel that RMC should at least in part support the effort through sponsorship.

I suggest that RMC make a donation to the SeeMore support fund under the following conditions:

1. That any RMC donation be used ONLY for the preservation, maintenance and display of SeeMore.
2. That PPCC maintain an accounting* available to RMC regarding how, why and where any such funds were spent.
3. That whenever SeeMore is shown, that RMC is listed on a poster or the like as a Sponsor. The entry should show the contact information required for a new member to join RMC.
4. That RMC membership applications be made available during the display.
5. That a sample copy of the RMC newsletter be made available to SeeMore visitors and potential new members..

*PPCC already accounts for SeeMore activities separately from general Club activities.

I feel so strongly about the importance of SeeMore in the effort to keep RMC (and PPCC) viable, that I’m willing to match, up to $1500, and Sponsorship donation made by RMC.

I think this is an important topic that deserves consideration at the next meeting.
