[RMC List] - Autocross misc

Good afternoon,

We currently have 16 confirmed participants for Sunday's Autocross.  There
are 3 who have not paid or made arrangements to pay.  If you have not paid,
please bring your $15 with you on Sunday for registration.

A question was asked about Porta-potties.  We have not rented one for this
venue and there are no open facilities on the property.  Directly across
Quail Street is a City of Lakewood Recycling Center that has a Port-o-let.
I suspect if you brought something over to drop in the recycling station,
you could use it.  They're probably not guarding it.

Further, on 8th and Union, there are two gas stations / convenience stores,
one on the NE, and the other on the SW corners.  That would be a good spot
for a restroom, compressed air, munchies, pine tree air fresheners, and gas
of course.  Either one is  probably 1/2 mile from the course.

My friend and co-worker Jeff brought me 7 (count-em) loaner helmets
yesterday evening.  I know there area  few more out there too.  If you
bring one to loan, please put your name on it on a piece of masking tape so
it gets back to the right home.  As a convenience, you could also put the
size on a tape label.  I will bring a cloth tape measure and size chart so
borrowers don't have to try them all on and rip their ears off.

For our photographers out there, I took a few pictures yesterday evening
from vantage points around the lot to share.  It's a good spot to get
action pictures, and if you collect video, please share it with me, and we
will work on putting together a video of the 2019 event.  Please see the

*Location: * 809 S Quail St.  From 6th Ave / US 6 and Simms St / Union
exit, go North on Simms St to 8th street (1st light) and turn Right.  Cross
the light rail tracks and turn left at the stop sign on Quail St.  Watch
for the lot on the left, almost directly across from Parfet St on the
right.  The Jeffco school buses are in a lot just north of our venue, in
fact this is where the bus drivers park.
