[RMC List] - Club activities for Feb.

Hi Everyone,
 I want to send out info on the Feb Events and activities planned for the
club. One is early in the month and I want everyone to know before the
newsletter and meeting for planning purposes.

****We will be doing a self-guided group tour of the Forney Museum of
Transportation  on Sunday,  Feb. 3rd.* We will be meeting at noon at the
Forney Museum and starting the tour at 12:15. No backpacks or purses are
permitted in the museum, however lockers are available for free. Admission
prices are:
Adults... $11.00
Seniors (65 & older)..... $9.00
Children (3-12).... $5.00; under age 3 is free
The special exhibit are vintage camping trailers from the 50s and 60s. We
will be there about 2 hours.
At 2:15, we will drive down to Blue Moon Brewing Company for Linner (that's
when you eat late lunch and early dinner!). They are located at 3750
Chestnut Place, about 1 mile down Brighton from the museum.* I need a close
estimate of the number of folks planning to come on the 3rd. Let me know
via email or phone call if you plan to attend by Jan. 30th.*

****The weekend of Feb. 9-10 is the Tri-State Swap Meet at The National
Western Complex*. Hours are Saturday, 8-5; Sunday, 8-3. "This is the
regions largest indoor swap meet of everything related to automotive
products, parts, etc." Our member, Michael Timmons has a vendor space, and
he has offered to share it with members. If you have something you'd like
to sell, please contact him.

CASH ONLY ADMISSION:
Saturday :$12.00 ; Sunday : $6.00
Discounts for Military; $1.00 with ID
and Seniors; $1.00 65+ with ID
Ladies free on Sunday  and children 12 and under are Free either day.

****Unser Racing on Feb. 23rd. This is high speed go kart racing.* Located
at 7300 Broadway ( the intersection of highway 25 and 36). This activity is
still in the works and more information to follow. *I need to know by Jan.
30, who would participate in this to finalize planning, so let me know if
you will come out for this fun event.*
