Thanks for the update Rick.

So since I am new to the organization, and Corvair ownership in general, what is everyone's take on regular gas versus premium? And in Ethanol in the gas or not?

I figure it may depend on the engine of course. I have the 65 corvair 110.

Hey everybody,

I hope this note finds everyone healthy and safe during this health crisis.
Since I work from my home office, I haven't been terribly effected, other
than a severe case of cabin fever. To compound that problem, needed parts
for the engine rebuild for the Red '64 are currently unavailable from
Clark's. Hopefully things will open back up in time so I can put that
stimulus check we're supposed to get from the government to good use and
feed my Corvair-owna habit. :-)

If you didn't see the April Newsletter for details on recent events and
cancelations, I've attached a copy here. Awesome job, Paul!

Cancelations & Schedule Changes:

The April RMC monthly meeting originally scheduled for tonight has been
canceled. Hopefully we can resume the regular meeting schedule for the May
meeting. Only time will tell if the restrictions on gatherings have been
lifted by then.

School of Mines E-Days car show on the 18th has been canceled for this year

The Tri-State Tuneup scheduled for May 3, at the Schakle's spread has been
canceled.

For those who were planning on attending the National Convention this July
in San Diego, it has been postponed till 2021. Exact dates are TBD at this
point.

We are waiting on word from Corvairs New Mexico on whether or not Tri-State
has been canceled or postponed. As of a couple weeks go, it was still on
for mid May.

As warmer spring weather approaches, and you have to make those essential
forays' out, drive your Corvair if you can. I know I'm going to try and
take advantage of the lower fuel prices. I've heard of pricing approaching
a dollar a gallon for regular, so premium shouldn't be too far above that.

Be safe out there.

Best,

Rick Beets
