RMC List - FC brake light switch

After much digging, I did find an old AC Delco switch/electrical parts book but the info in there was not as complete as I would have liked.
Did come up with this, though:

Standard Ignition SLS-40 is an x-ref for the Chevy p/u...and appears to be a switch with the (R) lever
but beware, as there are two versions - left and right

When looking at the switch from the terminal side, the (R) version has the lever pointing to the right.
That's a Cole Hersey 8486 or AC Delco D851/D852/D853

When looking at the switch from the terminal side, the (L) version has the lever pointing to the left.
That's a Cole Hersey 8487 or AC Delco D854 (used on early 60's parcel vans)
