Hello RMC members -
We discussed Hands Of The Carpenter during last Friday's meeting. As you
know, they are opening a second location in Aurora to serve the
transportation challenges of single moms in that area.
Their open house is this coming Saturday from 1 pm - 2:30 pm.
The address is 10401 East Idaho Place, Aurora CO.
The Poker Run fundraiser is on Sunday, June 5th.

Here are some details from the website:
Jack Pot on the Blacktop! Here are some important aspects of the event you
need to know:
- Check-in and Start time – 8:30am Check In & Gathering at Hagerty in
Littleton.
Check In
Enjoy a light snack and coffee
Pick up route booklet
Launch Poker Run
- Route & Stops:
Your route booklet will guide you to 3 stops through the foothills where
you will draw your Poker hands at each stop.
You will have the option to purchase additional card draws at each stop.
4th stop will be the finish and site of the car show.
- 4th Stop Gathering at Bruz Beer in Denver (Pecos Location)
Food Trucks
Car Show for those cars that do better in parking lots vs. mountain
roads (invite your friends and family).
Bruz Beer on tap and to take home.
Winner announcements.

- Registration, payment and release form – Scroll down to complete the
registration form and process your payment:
$225 For poker run and car show entry (Per car)
$50 For Car show entry (Per Car)
After your registration is received a release form will be e- mailed.
Please print copies of the form for each person who will be participating
in the Road Rally, sign, and bring the forms to Check-in.
- Safety – The route directions in the booklet are designed to be clear
enough to keep you on course. If it is necessary for both driver and
navigator to look at route instructions, only do so after the car has been
parked in a safe location off the road. It is your responsibility to enjoy
the event and *obey all traffic laws throughout the day*.
Hands of The Carpenter (Hands) offers hope to single women with dependent
children, while providing automobile services, partnering in their efforts
to remain employed and to strive toward economic self- sufficiency.
