RMC List - Accident observations and recommendations

 Sorry to see this it is outrageous. It looks like you could have been hurt even more. Of course not much will be done to the driver who did this.

 I purchased Nielsen's BMW wagon they offered for sale since I waited months for a shop to weld up my Corvair engine head.
Last month it probably saved me from even more serious injury.  
I  was stopped and waiting in the center turn lane just two blocks from home.  A scofflaw driver was using the same center turn lane to pass all the southbound traffic. He collided with the rear of the wagon.  It was declared a total  loss.
Quite amazing that a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu going 50+ MPH had the kinetic energy I felt while firmly belted in.It Broke my lower back.
Two suggestions for everyone in this rat race traffic we are enduring now:
1.  Have a dash cam type camera both front and rear in every vehicle you drive.
2.  Do not place anything in the rear seat that would be thrown about the inside of the vehicle.
