A fire ban is in effect for Lakewood's parks and open spaces. Activities never allowed:
* Building, maintaining, attending or using any fire or campfire, except within a permanently constructed fire grate or grill in natural areas and parks.
Yes, a fire ban is in effect; however, it looks like we can use the grill.
For safety's sake, perhaps we could bring a fire extinguisher and have a bucket of water nearby.
