Doug (and Cathy),
>From my perspective, it would be fine to invite PPCC to the Tebo collection too. There are actually quite a few of us that have membership in both clubs. Let me know if there is a hint of a chance we can poll both groups.
I'd say it is also fine to call Budweiser and test the logistics of when we could go. For example, can we go on Saturday *or* Sunday, what are their hours, how far do we need to schedule in advance, etc.
A drawback of not currently having an activities person is that we don't really have a list of activities going so we could avoid conflicts. The other thing of course is not everybody needs to go to every event so there may be gaps in individual's schedules. Right now we are following a model that if someone is interested they will inform the group of the opportunity but calendars if any are pretty informal.
I think it is true that PPCC tends toward car show events and RMC tends toward other events like tours and a meal. Rex Harrison (new president of PPCC) and I (former president of PPCC) will talk about how we can try to get the clubs to where they will do more things together. Distance between the club's areas are a challenge right off the bat, particularly when traveling in our Corvairs.
Something else that has come up from time to time is how to get the spouses interested. From my perspective I appreciate having ladies show up and I understand they may not be quite as interested in oil and greasy/dirty car parts as the men are.
I'm glad you were able to attend last night, and I hope you'll forgive my free associating here.
Regards,
Mike

I'm not confident that we will get lucky and be allowed in, but it's worth a call. If you google Steve Tebo Car Museum, you will get a taste of what it is. Nearly 400 cars of all kinds under one roof. I saw only two
