RMC List - RMC Christmas Party 2024

Hello Party-Goers,

(This computer has a habit of breaking up sentences in odd places.
Apologies if that happens.  I do not know how to correct that action)


We have arranged to have our annual Christmas Party again this year at the
Black Bear Diner.
We understand that there was some unhappiness last year over our location
in the diner, and
we are going back to the original room this year.  We will do our best to
make sure everyone is comfortable.

Here are the details:

*DATE:*    Saturday, December 14, 2024
*TIME:*    Meet at 2:00 P.M. in Lobby Area
             We May Be Seated a Little Later Than 2:00
*PLACE:*  Black Bear Diner
             14100 East Iliff Avenue (I/225 at Iliff Ave)
             Aurora CO  80014
*RSVP:*   No Later Than December 4 Please

Thanks to #1 Top Website Guy Dale Nielsen, we have a link below so that we
can easily make our reservations.

Munchie appetizers and your first drink of any type will be provided by
Rocky Mountain Corsa.  Be sure to find Kory or Gail to
*get your drink ticket when you arrive, and give it to the wait staff when
you order your drink.  *

We will order from the regular great menu and will be given separate checks.
Breakfast is served all day for us breakfast lovers!
Portions are large.  Be ready for a take-home box.  We pay at the front
counter.

As of the time of this writing, we realize we have not discussed the
election of officers for next year.  We normally do that
at this event.  If there are elections to be had, that will likely take
place as usual this year.  Seems like we vote even when
 a person is running unopposed for his/her office.

We will of course have our GIFT EXCHANGE.  If you care to take part (really
chaotic fun), bring a wrapped gift in the
price range of $20 to $30.  Mark the gift with a label for GUY, GAL,
EITHER.  Be ready to steal your favorite gift from
the hands of your friends!  Once a gift has been stolen twice, it remains
with that owner.  Keep your eyes open!
*Get your GIFT EXCHANGE TICKET from Gail or **Kory when you arrive.*

TOYS FOR TOTS:  We will bring a donation box and take it afterwards to
their drop-off location.
                           GIFTS ARE TO BE NEW AND LEFT UNWRAPPED
                          If we get news that Toys for Tots is in need of
gifts for a certain age group, we will get that
                          information to you.
                          They usually don't know until closer to December.
                          When you support Toys for Tots, you are giving a
gift to a child or young person who might
                                      otherwise have no gift at all. Your
generosity if you choose to donate is much appreciated.
