Hello All RMC Members,

With summer coming to a close, we need to take advantage of every
opportunity to get our cars out and have some fun. Here's another
opportunity to hang out together.

As discussed earlier this month at the club meeting (9/3), I wanted
to share with you the event information that the Pikes Peak Corvair Club has
published for the Fall Aspen tour to Guffey, Colorado on Sunday, September
26th.

We're going to the Bull Moose Restaurant http://www.thebullmooseinguffey.com/
in Guffey.

Their menu is posted on the website, but Patricia Fox was able to get
the restaurant to create a special menu in honor of the Corvair Car
Club. Fro $13.95, your choice of Pulled Pork Sandwich, Sloppy Joe, Green
Chili Burrito, or Vegitarian Chili Burrito, served with your choice of Chicken
with wild Rice Soup or Salad and coffee or iced tea, plus a delicious
complimentary frosted brownie.

There is also a "Junior Moose" menu available at the
restaurant.

The PPCC folks will be meeting up 9:30am in the old Van
Briggle Pottery parking lot (southwest corner of 21st and Cimarron/Hwy 24) in Colorado Springs and
heading out from there. It's about a 1 1/2 hour drive for the 60 miles
going the southern route: <A

We're all welcome to take the southern route, but if you would prefer
to take the northern pass, by way of route 285 out to CO-9 and into Guffey,
would the folks who are going like to meet up somewhere in Morrison and then
head up together? It's about a 2 1/2 hour for the 130 mile ride
going the northern route: <A

If you're planning on attending, please let Patricia Fox know @

I'll be taking the southern route, so thanks, and see you all in the
mountains.

(I hope the links above all work for you - if not, just Google
Maps Denver to Guffey and you'll see the same thing I
did)
