The room rates were, in our opinion, a bit high.<br>Crested Butte came in with the best rate of $99 a night and have a couple<br>different options for the get together on Friday and the banquet on<br>Saturday.<br><br>Crested Butte offers us a unique setting for the 2018 event. Nestled, in a<br>box canyon about 30 miles north of Gunnison, it's a quaint ski town with<br>plenty of shops, bars and things for folks to do and see.<br><br>If we set the dates for June 9 & 10, rather than the weekend of the 2nd, the<br>mountain will be open for summer operations which means the lifts will be<br>running for those so inclined to ride up the mountain and either hike or<br>bike back down to the base area.
