The event is ChiliFest and it is a chili cook off. Dozens of people enter their different chili recipes. </p><p>Folks buy tickets to the event and sample the different chilis and vote on them. </p><p><br></p><p>This event is September 9 at the Douglas County Events Center (fairgrounds) in Castle Rock. It is from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. </p><p><br></p><p>The car show is inside the event hall where the ChiliFest event takes place and also outside. </p><p><br></p><p>There are a limited number of inside parking spots for the car show and when it is full, the rest of the vehicles are parked outside to show.
